The European Union has placed circularity at the heart of its political and economic agenda, but translating ambition into measurable impact remains a challenge. To build cleaner, more resilient, and resource-efficient supply chains, the EU must go beyond broad targets and actively support scalable, proven solutions like Reusable Transport Packaging (RTP) systems. This paper outlines the critical role RTP can play in delivering on circularity goals and sets out the regulatory and market support needed to embed reuse at the core of future EU policy.
